After the third class on the afternoon of 27th December, at the conference room in the west campus, the First Party Branch of Anqing Foreign Language School convened the 2016 Party Member’s Democratic Appraisal Meeting, chaired by the First Branch Secretary Liu Qiongdan with Anqing Foreign Language School’s General Party Branch. Also in attendance was General Party Branch Secretary Sun Yijun.
Initially at the meeting, Secretary Liu Qiongdan meticulously summarized the party construction work as well as studies on theoretical and practical issues of party building in the First Party Branch.
What’s more, Secretary Liu conducted comprehensive planning on how to implement work smoothly in 2017.
To be specific, Secretary Liu Qiongdan not only affirmed the achievements made by the First Party Branch, but also pointed out the deficiency existing in the party building work. Secretary Liu led all party members to further carry out the study and discussion in regard to the necessity to take actions, play fair and keep up with the theory, line, principles in addition to the policies of the Party.
Furthermore, in close connection with their performance in ideology, work, style of work and their sense of discipline, all party members objectively proceeded self-criticism, conducted candid exchange of ideas, stated briefly each other ’s issues& inadequacy to make clear and definite directions of efforts in the next phase.
Overall, the General Party Branch Secretary Sun Yijun summed up the meeting and stressed that the meeting was characterized by the adequate preparation, formal procedures, truthfulness of criticism& self-criticism, not a mere formality as well as acquisition of substantial results. Meanwhile, Secretary Sun hoped that all party members would accept advice in an open-minded way, intensify their sense of responsibility, further reinforce the ideological building of their own and deepen the awareness of party membership to make the school work more solid, meticulous and pragmatic.
